The Aam Aadmi Party candidate for Mapusa by election, Shekhar Naik, launched his election manifesto, on Thursday. He has promised to extend the water pipelines in Mapusa constituency and to make the town garbage free, within six months. The manifesto also focuses on improving the health facilities, basic facilities in schools and sports facilities for children and youth of Mapusa.
Aam Admi Party is also focusing on the traffic congestion dogging Mapusa town. AAP plans to decongest the city and make the Mapusa bus stand WI-FI enabled to benefit commuters. AAP Mapusa candidate Shekhar Naik said that the manifesto included inputs from people of Mapusa. He said that he had completed 65 per cent of his door to door campaign and had been receiving good response from the people.
